The body of Herman Pabst, who died at the Hotel Majestic, New York City, Tuesday night, will arrive in Chicago this morning. Mr. Pabst was born in Chicago in 1858. He was a step-brother of Frederick Pabst, president of the Pabst Brewing Company, of Milwaukee, and had been the Chicago manager of the company since 1884. He had been ill since last February and when death overtook him was on his way to Germany to try the waters at Carlsbad. Mrs. Pabst, who has attended him during his illness, was at his bedside when he died. The body will be taken to 55 Delaware place, where the funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Emmeline A. Darrow was born Aug. 6, 1847, in Alburgh, Grand Isle County, Vermont. In Sept. of the year 1864, with her sister Frances, she came west to the farm in Albion Township, this county, and continued to live near Cresco for some time after her marriage to J. F. Patterson which occurred in Oct. 1871. To this union were born two children, Frances M. and Ruth M., both of which survive her.
In early womanhood she became a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and was active in all the work until poor health confined her more closely to the home. She died Dec. 21, 1915 at Barrington, Ill., in the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. G. Work. Her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Sherman Prince and Mrs. Robert Work of Barrington, Ill., two sisters, Miss Frances Darrow of Cresco, Ia., and Mrs. Sarah Durfey, of Nisland, S. Mrs. Penhall was born April 4, 1887, in Chicago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Goulding. She married John Penhall July 27, 1912. She was asctive in civic affairs and was a member of the Eastern Star for over 60 years. The Penhalls left Sterling in 1946 to retire in Long Beach.

PERRY, WILLIAM VORHEES : was born 25 May 1831, in the town of Lysander, Onondaga Co., New York, died, 12th May 1891, Chicago, Cook, Illinois, of tumor, Mr. William V. Perry, in his 60th year.
When he was a year old his parents moved to Allegany Co., N. Y. where he resided with them until 1856. By 1856, he had acquired a complete scientific course of study in an academy. He then sailed before the mast from New York to New Orleans, near there he taught school two years, after he returned to New York, and in the summer of 1858, removed with his parents to Burnett, Dodge Co. Wis. There he married Miss Maria K. McConnell, who survives him. In April, 1861, he enlisted in the Army of the Union ( 3 month's service), and in 1862 enlisted for three years, and served faithfully until disease compelled him to resign his office of 2d Lieut., of Co. K, 29th Div. He moved to Beaver Dam with his family in 1871, and to Chicago in April, 1880, For the past twenty years his time and inventive talents have been employed principally in perfecting a freight-car coupler, which was a most worthy and humanitarian invention, and which has been partially adopted by some railroads. He was persistent in his efforts, conscientious in every deed, and genial and true as friend.
His wife, and four daughters survive to mourn their loss. The daughters are Mrs. Ida. L. Clason, Mrs. Mattie Fallis, Mary Perry, and Mrs. Libbie Russell. The funeral occurred at 10 A.M. Tuesday, at the resident of Mr. S.W. Fallis, Chicago, under the auspices of George H. Thomas Post, No.5, G.A.R. and burial in the Oakswoods Cemetery, Chicago. The Oakwoods Cemetery Association also stated-that William was buried the 12th May 1891, grave no. F-4-190, the late resident was 587 W Ohio street, at Chicago, Illinois. DOUBLE SUICIDE: A Chicago Man Kills Himself and His Mistress
CHICAGO, June 6—Rudolph Hacker, a cigar manufacturer, and Mrs. Louise Plum, wife of Jacob H. Plum, were found dead in bed together in the woman's house at 114 North Halstead street today. The gas was turned on full from two jets and the circumstances pointed to a double suicide. But subsequent developments went to show that Hacker found the woman asleep in the house, and to prevent her leaving him, which she was contemplating doing, he turned on the gas and killed her and himself. The woman had been separated from her husband for three years because of her relations with Hacker. She had recently promised to return to her home, and it is suspected that when Hacker became aware of this he resolved upon the deed which ended both lives. POULSON - ROY J., 66, Fenton area farmer and cattle feeder, died at 4 a.m. today in Augustana Hospital in Chicago, following surgery on Thursday. The body was taken to the Drake and Son Funeral Chapel in Chicago, where funeral arrangements will be completed. The Rev. Elmo C. Ashton, pastor of a Glenview Lutheran Church will conduct the services and burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Chicago.
Mr. Poulsen was born in Chicago Sept. 17, 1894, the son of James and Linnie Poulsen. He was reared and educated in Chicago. He married Ruth B. Cromwell on April 20, 1927. They purchased the farm in Fenton in July, 1944, and moved to the farm to reside in July 1953. He was a cattle feeder and farmer. He was a veteran of World War One and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors are his widow, and one brother, Earl, Chicago. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harley. QUEAL, Robert F. -- It is seldom we regret any journalistic inability more than we do the absolute impossibility, caused by the crowded condition of our column, to reproduce a thoughtful, just and appreciative memorial of the late Rob't F. Queal (of Millview connection with the Seminole Lumber Company, who died at Evanston Nov. 2, 1883,) as it appeared in the N.Y. Christian Advocate of Dec. 20, 1883.  The notice fitly closes with the following merited tribute: - "Robert F. Queal was a manly man.  He was commanding in his presence, judicial in his mind, wise in his arguments, happy in his language, refined in his tastes, cultivated in his habits, gentle in his manner, modest in his bearing, firm in his convictions, generous in his nature, faithful in his friendships, unimpeachable in his motives, honorable in his instincts, and rich in his religious experience.  He lived a true prince, and died a true Christian.  Earth has lost one of its noblest laymen and heaven has gained one of its whitest souls."
