FRIDAY NOTES FROM THE QURAN (3/5/2024) - WAHYU / WAHIY

Non Muslims can skip this. It will be too technical.

I posted the last Friday Notes From The Quran in October 2023. Six months ago. I will try to be more regular on Fridays.

Here are some references to the word WAHYU / WAHIY and its derivatives that are mentioned in the Quran. Wahyu / wahiy are generally understood to refer to revelation from Allah or inspiration from Allah.

But do note the following verses from the Quran which mention WAHYU / WAHIY or its derivatives.

1. Zakaria communicated to people by WAHYU.

Surah 19:11  So Zakariya came out to his people from his chamber: He then signalled (AUHA) them  (فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ)   to celebrate Allah's praises in the morning and in the evening

2. Satanic people WAHYU fancy words to each other to deceive

Surah 6:112  Likewise did We make for every Messenger an enemy,- satans  among men and jinns, who WAHYU each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. If thy Lord had so planned, they would not have done it: so leave them and their inventions alone.

3. The mother of Moses received WAHYU

Surah 20:38 Behold! We sent to thy mother, by WAHYU, the message
Surah 28:7 So We sent the WAHYU to the mother of Moses

4. The bees were taught by WAHYU

Surah 16:68   And thy Lord WAHYU the Bee to build its hive in hills, on trees, and in (men's) habitations

5. The skies (heavens) received WAHYU

Surah 41:12   So He completed them as seven firmaments in two Days, and He WAHYU to each heaven its duty and command. And We adorned the lower heaven with lights, and (provided it) with guards. Such is the Decree of (Him) the Exalted in Might, Full of Knowledge

6. Satan WAHYU people to do wrong

Surah 6:121  Eat not on which Allah's name hath not been pronounced: That would be impiety. But the satan WAHYU their friends to contend with you, if ye were to obey them, ye would indeed be Pagans

7. The Quran was a WAHYU

Surah 12:3   We do relate unto thee the most beautiful of stories, in that We WAHYU to thee this Qur'an: before this, thou too was among those who knew it not.

8. The earth was given WAHYU

Surah 99:2 And the earth throws up her burdens
Surah 99:5   For that thy Lord will have given her WAHYU

So these are some references from the Quran where the word WAHYU / WAHIY and its grammatical derivatives are found. Please check them out for yourselves.

JUST A REMINDER

That the Islamic countries, especially in North and Western Africa are in deep stuff.

Here is a story about 80,000 children who are facing starvation in Mali - because of the war and fighting going on between the Muslims there. No one cares. Everyone is more worried that not enough Jews were killed on October 7th 2023.

Armed Groups Besieging Towns In Northeastern Mali Driving Residents, Many Children, To Hunger

“A humanitarian crisis is worsening in northeastern Mali where armed groups linked to Islamic State have besieged major towns leaving residents including some 80,000 children vulnerable to malnutrition, locals and an aid group warned Wednesday.

The town of Ménaka has been under siege for four months, driving up the prices of food. Other essential goods like medication are increasingly hard to find, residents and aid groups say.

“The humanitarian situation is catastrophic, with displaced people going from house to house asking for food for their families. Children are threatened with starvation,” Wani Ould Hamadi, deputy mayor of the town of Ménaka, told the Associated Press.

Mali, along with its neighbors Burkina Faso and Niger, has for over a decade battled an insurgency fought by armed groups, including some allied with al-Qaida and the Islamic State group.

Following military coups in all three nations in recent years, the ruling juntas have expelled French forces and turned to Russia’s mercenary units for security assistance instead.”

My Comments :

So Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso are all screwed up. By the way (for those of you who know the English language) Timbuktu is in Mali. In the map above you can also see a country called Mauritania which borders Mali to the West. It is also pretty screwed up.

But over 100 years ago the famous British shipping company the Cunard Line built and operated the world's largest and fastest passenger liner called the RMS Mauretania (and its sister ship the Lusitania). Here is a picture. Those were the days of style and class.

In those days there was no air travel between Britain and North America. So they built these very large (790 feet, 44,000 tons), very luxurious and super fast ships which sailed between Southampton or Liverpool in England and New York. These were the Boeing 747s of the age. The Mauritania could sail at 25 knots (46 km/hr). In those days these super liners vied for the Blue Riband prize ie the fastest crossing of the Atlantic Ocean between New York and Liverpool or Southampton.

In June 1909 it made the Atlantic crossing in four days, 17 hours, and 21 minutes. This was the fastest time ever recorded, and the Mauretania was awarded the Blue Riband prize. This record stood for 20 years.

So 115 years ago the name Mauretania reflected something good and useful for the human race.

HOW TO LOSE ELECTIONS 101 - PUMP UP INFLATION

Just the other day there was a 'dapat percuma, duit entah mai dari mana' RM1.0 billion 'allocation' announced at that Bumiputera Economic Congress. Do you all recall?

Now there will be another RM10.0 Billion pumped into the economy by way of a 'naik gaji' of 15%?  Which is being touted as the single largest naik gaji for the Penjawat Awam. Congratulations.

Again where is the money coming from? The Budget was a deficit budget, the gomen has to borrow more and more to cover its ever rising expenditures. Now they are spending another RM10 billion. Where is the money coming from? Ask the Treasury to issue more bonds?

According to Jabatan Statistik Malaysia the inflation rate for February 2024 was only 1.8%.

The annual inflation rate is expected to be about 3% - 3.5%.  Wow fantastic. That is super-duper low. That is what the gomen tells us.

'For 2023 as a whole, headline inflation declined to 2.5% compared to 3.3% in 2022..'

So if the purpose of the naik gaji is to help the Penjawat Awam meet higher inflation then why increase the gaji by 15% when the inflation for February 2024 was only 1.8% and the annual inflation maybe less than 3.5%?

Why not naik gaji by just 5%? That is more than enough to meet the inflation rate of say less than 3.5%.  Can the pakar-pakar okonomi please explain?

Then the World Bank says that in 2024 the Malaysian economy will be underachieving.

If the Malaysian economy is "underachieving" it is an immediate reflection on the gomen's administration. The gomen administration is also under achieving - that is why the economy is underachieving.

So tak tahu buat kerja, economy is 'underachieving' but you can get 15% salary increment? Wow? Banyak cantik.

And then they suggest the private sector to 'follow the gomen'. The private sector is not so stupid. The private sector will give you a higher salary when you work hard and become more productive. If you are not productive or you dont work hard the private sector will never give you a salary increase. That is common sense.

The World Bank says the Malaysian economy is underachieving. What does 'economy is underachieving' mean? It means that the Malaysian economy is producing less goods and services. The factories are producing less, Langkawi is dying, exports are possibly decreasing, the value of the Ringgit is shrinking bla bla bla. That is the meaning of the Malaysian economy is underachieving.

So suddenly you pump in RM11.0 billion (RM1.0b Bumi Congress money + RM10b naik gaji) into an economy whose inflation is super-duper low (according to the gomen) and whose economy is underachieving - and guess what will happen?

The inflation rate will go up. Harga barang akan naik.  You are producing less, your output is less, suddenly there is an extra RM11.0 billion free cash sloshing around the economy certainly prices will go up again.

Its like this tuan-tuan.

If there is RM100 million in the economy to buy cars, that RM100 million will buy 1000 cars at a price tag of RM100,000 per car.

Suddenly there is RM110 million in the economy but the number of cars has not increased (the output of the economy has not increased) this means the prices of those 1,000 cars  will increase by 10% to become RM110,000 per car. Harga kereta sudah naik 10%. Inflasi harga kereta adalah 10%.

So walaupun jumlah gaji naik jadi RM110 juta tetapi harga kereta pun akan naik dan batalkan kenaikan gaji tadi.

Inflation will just keep going up when you keep pumping buta money into the system.

Obviously this is just another gimmick. To get the Malay votes again.

But when foolish policies (to benefit just a few people) keep pushing inflation up and up and the whole country suffers, thats when you lose the elections.

HOW TO LOSE ELECTIONS 101 - CRIMINALISE SPEAKING

  • People have told me that I have reduced the volume of writing in my blog.
  • This is correct to an extent.
  • Others have said that 'you are not so critical anymore'.
  • Which is also true.
  • There are reasons for this.
  • I have been saying less since the new gang took over the 'hood.

Well here is a list of people who have gotten into trouble recently just for "SAYING THINGS".

  1. 45-year-old farmer charged under Sedition Act for comments in WhatsApp group
  2. Chegubard charged for criminal defamation and sedition
  3. D---nic D--ian reported on X (Twitter) his home was raided
  4. fellow fined (or 3 months jail) for comment about copter crash
  5. police reports (arrest warrants?) against Prof Murray Hunter who is outside the country for his writings

This is the situation in the country.  People who write, talk or make comments can get charged for criminal offences.

Congrats to all you m--keys who voted for these d--keys. They are not fully in control. If they had menang sikit lagi, only the devil knows what else they would do.

A fellow who stole billions can be pardoned, have his jail time reduced, now they are talking about house arrest. Another fellow who was called to defend himself over tens of millions corruption had the charges against him dropped. Both the fellows get to keep most of the money they stole.

But people who merely said things are getting charged for criminal offences. They did not steal anything. They did not rob a bank.

The people are getting fed up with this type of behaviour.
This is also why the BN lost the elections in 2018.
They used to do similar things.
This is why there was a hung Parliament in 2022.
In 2022 they all LOST. No one  WON. People were fed up.
Keep it up. This is how you lose elections.
