      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Derivative to a fault, Erased squanders some nifty potential and its talented cast in a bland retelling of a story action fans have seen too many times before.

Eye C A nice action thriller nothing fancy nor spectacular but is entertaining. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/24 Full Review Brian L Maybe this may have been a film worth watching had they Erased the daughter from this movie. Or maybe they could have killed her off very early and added a revenge factor to the story. As it is the only thing you feel is pity for having to deal with such a horrible daughter...and I mean pity for the audience. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/26/23 Full Review David W A decent to good movie. Its a little derivative and shows its hand too soon but it held my attention and was worth a watch on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Eckhart is a reliable and quality actor who pretty much carries this film himself with his performance. Eckhart is always a good watch (even if the movies he's in sometimes aren't that impressive) and the rest of the cast are mostly good (Olga Kurylenko especially). The daughter, however, can be quite irritating but that's due more to the way the part was written rather than the actress playing her. Anyway, not stellar but largely effective and well made despite it being naggingly reminiscent of several other movies. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Audience Member awesome just like the equalizer Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review steve d As by the books as you can get. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Jerry S The start was ok, the remedy would have needed a little more dramaturgy. The ending was pretty weak and most of the scenes were predictable.
