Sudha Murty makes cameo appearance in Kannada movie

Making some time from her busy work connected to Infosys Foundation's projects, chairperson Sudha Murty has made a cameo appearance in Kannada movie 'Uppu, Huli, Khara' that was opened in movie halls on Friday.
This is not the first screen appearance for the wife of Infosys founder N.R.Narayana Murthy, though. In the latest movie, Murty, also a well-known writer in Kannada and English, plays the role of a judge.

Murty said she was not at all keen to act in the movie but bowed to requests from producer M.Ramesh, whom she called a gentleman she has long known. "Ramesh has built all the Foundation's buildings, and requested me to act in his movie. And, that's how I agreed," she said.

Murty said she spent some time on a weekend for acting and dubbing. In the earlier movies too, she played a judge.

Earlier, she has acted in Kannada movies, 'Prarthane' and 'Preethi Illada Mele'.
