Bahamas Passionfruit & Banana Flower

Park.K.Bae

It's a great sporty mist because it lasts about an hour and is gentle. I get 90% banana flower with a bit of sour juicy pineapple. It isn't sickly at all. It is mellow and medium sweet. It transports me to a happy tropical place.

I’m really in conflict with this one:
I personally love it and find it bright dark green foresty fresh but all the harsh negativity is making conscious/anxious wearing it - if all the people around me find it disturbing
Maybe need to collect some input from around me OR just wear it, own it!

Australienne

Australienne

This is a happy sunny fragrance. It reminds me Lust for Sun by Juliette Has a Gun, just more prominent.

Meredithe
Black Opium Le Parfum

Meredithe

Smooth, oriental, spicy vanilla concoction.

I usually layer it with Noir Extreme which works perfectly for me during early spring and fall. Noir Extreme is stronger and sweeter on my skin whereas Noir Pour Femme is much weaker. Love Kulfi note in both.

It's not "sweet" - it's a perfectly balanced aromatic fragrance leaning gourmand. Such a shame it's discontinued, like most fragrances I like or love. Big mistake. Big. Huge!

DukeGodfrey
Le Beau Le Parfum

DukeGodfrey

Man this here smells beautiful. Such a warm sweet scent perfect for the colder seasons. I just picked it up just about when we're heading for spring so I'm a little bummed that I won't be able to wear it a lot but that's life right.

ranieriliv

Classic and suits any occasion. This blue fragrance is mass appeling and very easy to wear. But if you seek performance that's not the one for you, I wished it could have a trail, it doesn't. Not that long lasting too.

Josif

Get yourself a cigar and an old fashioned. Run fingers through your sunbathed blondish mane. Put on tortoise wayfarers. The sun is out and it's time for another day at french riviera for you, old money, beige panama suit dressed gentleman.

This is the epitome of everyday, sophisticated masculine fragrance. It's fresh, green, aromatic and that touch of cardamom rounds it up to a well blended cologne. Boozy note lingers in the background, giving it the final edge.

Very unique. Stands out and not many people know about it or smell like this. Just great, original perfumery.

Prunel
Fahrenheit Le Parfum

Prunel

Now this is artistic perfumery ! Extremely unique fragrance. It smells like dirty honey to me. It's extremely potent. It opens up like extremely sweet and dirty honey and dries down to a smooth mix of honey and vanilla. Completely unisex, very strong performance. I can't really see when I'd wear this though. I don't think this smells like Tobacco Honey. This is way less "serious" and formal.

This is a marble pillar of my modest collection. It is one that is very difficult to "put in a box" to me. It projects different every time I wear this beauty. It opens either adlehydes, coriander, floral or animalic -ish. Then it dries to either mossy, musky or ambery base. With this one is my life like a box of chocolates but it had to grow on me.

You have to be very careful with the sprays. This fragrance is a bomb, very sweet and can fill up a room. Leans very unisex for me. Youll smell life a vanilla cookie that just got out of the oven, there is so much warmth.

i really like this! its very earthy and natural smelling not synthetic at all IMO, this perfume does lean to the more mature(ish) smell and as a 17yr old i dont wear it that much, mostly to formal/professional events. overall a solid 7/10 great perfumery! (ABSOLUTELY NOT A SAFE BLIND BUY!) for those wondering ;)

spectrral
The Dark Side

spectrral

an intense opening of sticky syrupy honey and dark, rich, incense, with a deep spicy amber and wood base. smells like a well varnished, old mahogany desk in a study with wooden walls and creaky old wooden floors, lit by a dim orange-yellow candlelight. there's old papers scattered on the desk, and a bouquet of gently wilted flowers. a window opens up in to a courtyard of black iron fences and a dark grey sky, gently saturating the dark green grass. richly and deeply balsamic and full of spice, with the slightest sweetness (almost maple-esque) deep within the layers of scent. as it sits slightly a vanilla sugar begins to creep up from the depths of the spice and incense to light that darkness up slightly.

ranieriliv

ranieriliv

I paper tested this one, and it really leans more to the Feminine and Mature side. It smells partly like my Mom’s potpourri, and then a virtual potpourri of fragrance notes clamoring for attention. It’s like everyone at the pool sprayed on a different fragrance and you walked past all of them very fast. My reaction to this fragrance is to just keep on walking and don’t look back.

This is simply delicious. An absolutely gorgeous honey scent. Thick, sweet, dark, and powdery. It’s like Zoologist’s "Bee" without the unfortunate cat urine vibe.

felipebizarria.1
Lavande 31

felipebizarria.1

Le Labo claims to be a Grasse-New York perfume label, here you will find the Grasse side of the company. Lavande 31 opens with a beautiful neroli note! A white soap that will stay with you even after the shower is over! Longevity is a huge point here, once citric fragrances tend to evaporate in a matter of minutes. Some aldehydes are here, some Provencal lavender, white musks, the same molecule from Another 13 and the amber base. Neroli is the great star of this composition and it takes you to a French vibe. The dry down takes you back to New York but you'll never forget the Grasse journey in it.

Glyceryl
Baccarat Rouge 540

Glyceryl

Pretty, classy, fruity patchouli scent.

I feel like I’ve smelled this before, though. I can’t figure out what it’s reminding me of (mind you I’ve never owned or tried any of the previous miss diors). I guess that should tell you that it’s nothing new or special.

Blackcat808

Blackcat808

It smells about 90% similar to the original but it's a bit heavier and more potent in comparison. I'd consider it to basically be the night time version whereas the original is more for daytime wear. With that said, I still prefer the original as it has an "airier" quality to it that feels more vibrant and youthful. Elixir is perhaps slightly more elevated and some might say a bit more "sultry" but it sort of lacks that same airy brightness that made me fall in love with Blush in the first place. You could say Elixir is more earthy whereas Blush is more airy.

I will say though, the performance and projection is even better on this one and is definitely more intense and amped-up. Overall, incredibly similar just a bit heavier and more "punchy."

Mogia

Fruit and warm. I don't know why, but I smell an ananas. Its like a walk on the beach, when its warm evening and drink pina colada.

I am always amused when I go through the comments and find unhinged comparisons. Someone said this smells like Poets of Berlin. Excuse me but what substances are you taking? That is a blueberry lemon muffin scent and the only note Iris Malikhan shares with that is vanilla. This is an entirely different beast.

ana.cris-geo

It is embarrassing how watered down this has been... I bought this perfume for the first time in 2017-2018. It was deep, dense, with an intoxicating scent, immediately from the first spray of a new bottle. I bought a new bottle 1 month ago. It is barely scented water, it has almost no smell and fades away extremely quickly. After 1 month of letting it settle down, I saw barely any improvements. At this moment, it is just a huge waste of money.

I was surprised how much I was enchanted by this rose and sage crisp and well balanced combination. It's supported with a woodsy note and only a slightly noticeable sweet base. Well blended as you could expect from the MFK.

First impressions: I'm 13 years old again and walking down a boardwalk eating a huge sugary mass of blue cotton candy, the scent of powdered sugar and ocean salt wafting through the air. I wish it was more pleasantly nostalgic to me but unfortunately it's a little too synthetic and sickly for my taste, like I've gorged myself on too many carnival treats.

It's really nice, but it isn't unique by any means, and honestly reminds me a lot of Seductive Red for women by Guess. I would say it's a bit sweeter, with a really nice depth to it that Seductive Red doesn't have, but for the price I wouldn't say it's worth it.

Smells like sea world to me but not in a bad way or a gross fishy way, in an aquatic nostalgic way, Reminds me when I was a little kid, taking a bubble bath, has this nostalgic vibe to it, very clean and fresh, soapy, a little bit powdery, smells a little bit like fresh laundry, im so happy i found THE nostalgic memories scent, may be my new favorite bath and body works scent, would layer great with my Glow By Jennifer Lopez Perfume don't know why bath and body works stop selling this, such a classic clean scent!,

Scandal Absolu Pour Homme definitely retains some of the OG Scandal DNA. If you own the EDT and or the Le Parfum I would say that Absolu is not redundant, definitely give it a spritz! Now, my thoughts. Absolu is less sweet than the EDT and Le Parfum, I definitely get Chestnut in the opening and some ‘booziness’ Absolu is very smooth, extremely well blended and is quite addictive! I also detect a little ‘fruitiness’ as Absolu begins to slowly dry down. Performance is on par with the EDT and Le Parfum, I get a solid 7-8 hours of projection, Absolu lasts all day on my skin and it definitely lingers on clothing. If you can, give it a try!

Djchildress
Reflection 45 Man

Djchildress

Okay, so I'm probably going to be one of the very, very few people out there who've gone and blind bought a full bottle of Reflection 45 without having ever smelled the original. However, I have watched a lot of Frag Mental's reviews and comments on the Reflection/Le Male comparison and I knew that I would definitely be into a higher quality, slightly more floral and better performing version of Le Male but I've always just had other things I wanted more. That's got a lot to do with the fact that I have always enjoyed heavy, oriental, gourmand, amber and oud based fragrances most though I must admit 1Million Intense is one of my favorites and doesn't really fit into any of those categories, but that's what I enjoy about it so much. But I digress, back to Reflection 45. So when this got released it was an instant must have given my personal taste. A denser, more resin based, highly concentrated version of Reflection is exactly just enough to push me into making the purchase....... but then there was the difference in price between this one and the original! I mean, I knew it was going to be good, but was it really going to be TWICE as good as the original? I'd wait until the prices fell a bit before I got the chance to find out. So I finally ran across a full bottle for just a hair above $300 and I grabbed it. BOY AM I GLAD THAT I DID ! ! ! This stuff is unbelievably amazing. Upon application it's bright and uplifting. A stunning beauty of olfactory expression and mens fragrance done at the very highest level of quality and execution. Then comes the mid, where the sandalwood and resins start to show up, and man don't they do it with suave style and vibrant pisaz for what one would think to be such a heavy, middle eastern fragrance. Then the base brings out the spices and is my favorite part of the whole adventure. But don't get me wrong, from start to finish, it's better than anything else on the market you are going to find for even half the price of this one. And that's if you shop at discounters! The hype is definitely real with Reflection 45, so if you can afford to take a ride don't pass up on the opportunity.

After test spraying and rejecting most department store colognes, I found myself thinking about this one again and again. It is just so darn alluring and well blended. I had to order a small bottle to give it a fair shot. And so I would describe this as a handsome helping of amber, a pinch of cherry from a cherry tobacco, and just a touch of wood and maybe a hint of citrus and spice hidden in the background to smooth it all out. This is a fragrance that you feel good wearing, and that makes you want to go out smelling darn good wearing.

Happy to find this one. Opens as if you grind a handful of cardamom in a place with an extinguished fireplace, this is where the cold smokiness is coming from. Soon you can get a whiff of chopped spearmint leaves on a wooden board and here and there a bit of supportive saltiness. The vetiver shows more than one face and it is no doubt very complex and energetic well blended fragrance.

My goodness this is a magical scent. You get an initial hit of the leather but then you smell that delicious, almost creamy vanilla, but not lactonic. It’s so addictive, I wish I could say it’s worth the crazy price due to it being hard to find. Alas I appreciate the decant of it I have. I recommend the Dua brand and Dapper dupes of Babycat, those come suuuuper close to this.

I bought a sample atomizer and tried it several times. This one is not for me, but I can tell why men like it. There are colognes like Declaration by Cartier that smell like power and success. However, they are extraordinarily dry and woody so the wearer comes across as unapproachable. With Touch, there is a similar sense of luxury, but there is also musky sweetness and spice. Thus, this is both formal and affectionate. Burberry Touch would make for a nice choice for a dinner date.

I first came across this fragrance years ago. One of my homies smelled incredible and so that’s when he introduced me to it. Once I could afford a bottle, this became my go-to summer fragrance for years.

Eventually I had to face the fact that the performance is just terrible. If you perspire even a little bit this will vanish.

Nowadays I just wear it to the gym and hanging about. I still love how it smells.

I love the warmth of the amber. Accidentally spilled a bunch all over myself and work bag and kept getting compliments on it. Definitely high performing. I would say this is for sure unisex and a very rich fragrance. I love the subtle hints of spice as they intertwine with the amber and resins. This is a great cooler weather scent in my opinion or great for an evening.

Very pretty scent. This is a fresh, green rose. I get quite a bit of the mint which I love. As much as I love the scent, it is very soft, so if you are looking for a strong, long lasting rose, this probably isn't what you are looking for. However the price is right for this one. Bought a 200mL bottle for $100. I'll be spraying this a lot when it starts getting warmer. I think layering this over an oil is the way to go. I have the Ellis Brooklyn "Myth" body oil and the two pair so well together. Both are fresh and clean scents, but the Myth oil adds some muskiness and this adds a touch of green rose. Plus the oil makes this last a little longer. I love the scent, but the longevity and sillage are keeping this from being a staple in my collection.

This is a sweeter and more musky version of Coco Noir- I have samples of both right now and the similarities are obvious. That very gentle peach with musk combo feels like a throwback to 90's fragrances- reminds me of Ghost Myst by Coty- look at the notes. I might end up buying this one- I've been circling it like a shark for a year now haha.

I really like this!

I'm considering purchasing a full bottle but I need to test it once again since I'm not sure yet.
It seems that on my skin it doesn't have that much of projection and longevity is around 4 hours.
I don't have any ylang ylang perfume in my collection since I was never into that note even though it's really comforting scent so hopefully this will be my first ylang-yalng perfume.
Also I was curious to read some of reviews here but there is not many of them 🤔

In terms of the smell this is obviously ylang ylang but really soft and creamy one that is mixed with white musk.
If I try hard I can smell that humid tropical air mixed with the beautiful flowers smell but it's not the first picture thing that comes to my mind while I'm smelling this perfume.
Also I'm a little bit baffled if I like this perfume because of that story what this perfume represents or I really like this scent. It's not a cheap one so I need more testing for sure. 🤑

Opening is a bit sweet, slightly minty with slight citrus. For me that sweetness almost takes on a white floral character, ALMOST like tuberose a sweet, lightly minty bubblegum. It might just be my nose but that bubblegum floral character fades. with the lavender, becomes less sweet and more fresh. The Opening had me worried as I'm picky when it comes to sweetness but it becomes more balanced and enjoyable after about 10 minutes. imma have to test some more. Smells great tho. I have version with the black plastic written on it "Intense". Using it for a month and i love it, especially the dry down, or the day after when i take the same shirt its hard for me to go for another scent, coz than is when you really feel the drydown, and im like "yea i want more of this" (because you are getting very easy nose blind to this scent).
Longevity is good, projection, im not sure coz as i said is very easy to go nose blind to this one.
Also need a little bit of warm to shine.

I have tested the normal version few times, and i think the difference is that the intense is little bit more dense and a bit more fruity , also the citrus goes for the whole life span of the scent.

This is a fresh and unisex scent , I think it’s right in the middle - doesn’t lean too feminine .. but I can see it leaning a little more masculine … but very slightly.
This is a woody & green fragrance for spring and summer. The longevity is meh. You get better longevity if you spray it on your clothing . On the skin you get maybe 2 hours of wear time. If I had to rate this … it would be 6/10
I love diptyque and I really wanted to love it. It’s just ok.

The juniper is prominent at the beginning and on the dry down I don’t really get Tonka… it stays pretty green the time it lasts on the skin.

I tested this on paper, and it is more leafy and more alluring than I anticipated. The most noticeable part of this fragrance is the vibrant and pleasantly bitter smell of a freshly torn leaf. You will feel good, like a kid walking in a garden and plucking leaves to smell them. Then by surprise a vanilla and honeyed syrup comes wafting through to make you want to breath it all in a bit deeper. There is a woody and green aspect as well that plays a supporting role. A beautiful fragrance, but it did leave me wondering what a little citrus might do to juice this up a bit.

More of a musky peach scent. Smells more like peach & mango rather than straight peach which I LOVE . 🍑 🥭 same type of artificial candy peach scent you can find in bath and body works pretty as a peach, but they do not replace each other by any means imo. As a peach lover, I’d prefer to have both at all times as they are not identical. This one is more candy like.

This fragrance is thick, powdery, floral and creamy.. it’s very mature the opening isn’t as enjoyable as the dry down which I love but I’m still debating if I should get a full bottle. This a fragrance I would lightly spray once, maybe twice this isn’t a fragrance I would spray on my neck or upper body. You have to wait for this fragrance to dry down & blossom on your skin in order for you to enjoy it because the opening is too thick and overbearing for me.

Turtledove
La Chasse aux Papillons

Turtledove

Bright and airy! It leads with a sunny, citrus-y tuberose blended with jasmine, with a clean greenish orange blossom note in the background. Very spring in a bottle! This has a lightweight aquatic/grassy-green quality to it that keeps it from being too heavy, but if you're sensitive to white florals it might still be too much, it is VERY floral. I can't get enough of it though, naturalistic daytime white florals are one of my favorite genres, I love this one a lot! I just wish it lasted longer, I can't justify purchasing more than a mini without how fleeting it is.

Besotted with this scent!

The comparisons to Love Don’t Be Shy are accurate but this is deeper, richer, projects more and just a beast of a performer overall. Call it LDBS intense if you will.

A thick vanilla & toffee blend with some florals. Definitely smell the grapes on initial spray and wish that lasted into the dry down but beautiful nonetheless.

Packaging is very luxurious and gorgeous. I got 3 compliments within 10 minutes of wearing this the first time. It’s a compliment magnet and it lasts all day on skin and clothing.

Presentation is 10/10 - bottle and cap are nice and heavy. Will gladly repurchase as never want to be without it.

Scent is 10/10 for me.

Autumn /Winter/ Early Spring appropriate.
Very feminine and decadent.

Pricey but worth it. I managed to score a good bargain for it online on Notino- grateful, eternally.

I expected more, notes in this just seemed PERFECT I love peony , guava notes. had hoped something closer to Bombshell Sundrenched but fresher, not as warm. It’s not quite on par with sundrenched for me. The guava is here and I won’t say it’s less pronounced than in Sundrenched.. because even in that one , it’s not a super guava forward scent. Although, I feel like that one even pulls coconut even if coconut isn’t in the notes. For This one I get absolutely NO COCONUT or sunscreen or even much of tropical vibe because it’s actually soapy. The guava is very green and has no sweetness whereas in Sundrenched I feel like the scent pyramid has a very subtle sweetness or warmth on the skin that makes it sweet. This is actually very close to the OG bombshell unfortunately, id compare it a bit to Seduction but the green notes here from the palm make it less incensey and more … green. However, the peony I don’t get . The guava isn’t as pronounced or as well blended here as Sundrenched with the overall fragrance. It ended up pulling soapy and clean… which I absolutely didn’t want. I wanted a fresh bright guava and tropical vibes. It’s not BAD per say, but you may already have something like this. It’s not as unique as some other bombshell summer flankers.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite amber fragrances. It’s soft, deep, boozy, resinous, slightly powdered amber is just mixed perfectly. This is one of those fragrances that smell even better when you put your nose up to your skin. It’s a long lasting quality fragrance with moderate projection. Lubin makes some very high quality artistic fragrances that will satisfy us right brained individuals 9/10

Need to go to discuss ecclesiastical matters with Padre Domenicus in the Vatican? Think no further! This is the fragrance to wear. Expecting to be complimented on this is like the Pope expecting to be complimented for his getup. That is not going to happen, but just like the Pope’s outfit also Zefiro stands out and radiates old world patriarchal power. The polar opposite to sexy and light hearted.

I find this amazing, deep and comforting. I lived near a monastery when I was a kid and we often visited there with my family. That is the kind on incense that Zefiro contains. And because I have those childhood memories hard wired in my olfactory memory, I get this comforting feeling of putting all hurries behind when I wear this. This is subjective though, and I can’t imagine this being broadly appealing.

koxayous

this is my favourite sultan's attar so far. so so special

i like to stick to the notes and be rather objective when reviewing a fragrance, but I really struggle to describe this one. its beauty is in its absolute indifference - it just lives by itself. calm, fragile, meditative...despite heavy animalic notes Thebes feels airy and almost foggy. it makes you slow down and observe.

id suggest to give it 15-20mins to unfold...and let the magic begin

This scent has a fresh, tangy osmanthus opening with that spicy Crivelli twist. It's an interesting, refreshing spiced tea...until the tabacco takes over (at least on my skin). I thought the opening was quite feminine, and then the dry down smells very masculine on me. It's a bit strange how it flips so dramatically from feminine to masculine. Try it on your skin first.

A muted rendition of Mamluk by Xerjoff. Not a replacement for it, but a good day to day substitution. Still very good and highly wearable.

I think this is absolutely beautiful. A perfectly executed unisex fragrance. A new fave added to my collection! Anything that has cardamom as a prominent note, I tend to enjoy. Horrendous smell, I sprayed accidentally on my hand in the airport and I had to go to wash my hand immediately! Like the review below state in today's age this is really a weird scent! I really wanted this one but a few tries I have realized that it smells like a long wearing softer version of Jimmy Choo Radiant Tuberose which I already have.
This is a sad pass for me unless I find it at a really good price.

The Jimmy Choo is a really Radiant Tuberose that lasts a long while with good projection, and it has a presence i can notice everytime i have it and people around me notice it too and i often receive compliments on how good i smell.

The Criveli one smells the same but softer and lingers on for a long time I can barely notice this on soft wafts at time and the whole time I was wearing it didn't receive any comments so I geuss other people don't notice it too.

It's nice but it's not the best quality amber from Prada. This is no different from your average designer amber. The reason I expected more is because it's Prada. Prada does good quality stuff that trumps most designers. If you're looking for a good quality amber in the designer game just get Prada amber or Prada intense. Get the original Prada amber for a cleaner amber and the intense for a dark resinous one. This is fine but it really can't compare to Prada amber.

Sharp citrus which fades into a soft sweet skin scent remniscent of a fancy hotel spa after 1-2 hours. Less sweet than Atelier's Clementine California but not as pure citrus as Atelier's Orange Sanguine (which is a very pure blood orange rind scent).

Zuccarata is the baby sister of Accident À La Vanille - Almond Cake LE. AC is my gourmand treasure; hence, l, naturally, fell in love with ZuZu, too!

Gourmand lovers, who like sticky sweet treats, THIS IS FOR YOU!

ZuZu has the same almond-y, sweet, powdery goodness that AC bellows, but there is a slight kick of floral that happens in the middle (5 minute dry down) — Almost gives it a slight spiciness to the fragrance, which AC does not have. After about an hour, there’s this vanilla creaminess with a light cherry-almond gelato and the heliotrope in the background. Absolutely delicious.

I love this fragrance so much! I will definitely be wearing it year ‘round.

This what I love about Prada and why I place them toward the upper end of designers. The motto "the cleaner the man the sexier" embodies Prada and Italian style perfumery. Ofcourse people will view this as basic but it's supposed to be. What I respect most about Prada is how they have mastered the soapy clean fragrances and don't tend to change lanes. Even when they do a warmer sweeter scent it's still wrapped in cleaness. This one is a perfect example. It kind of reminds me of Prada amber with some citruses and mint. I love the lavender citrus combo. Into the mid you pick up the mint. It's impossible to often someone with this. This is still a great option from the Luna Rossa line.

brightsmith

brightsmith

i love a good mint scent, but I've never found one that lasts longer than an hour or two. sadly, this is no exception. it starts with delightful fresh mint, before deepening into something caramel-y. the sweetness never feels cloying or heavy, but also doesn't last long. this reminds me of a boozier version of the discontinued maison margiela tea escape -- both scents have lovely mint notes and creamy undertones, and both scents vanish like they owe me money.

AnlisaC

I was at Ulta today with my daughter! We were looking at new makeup and new fragrances. I was milling around the Estée Lauder display and Ulta had 3 of the fragrances out for testing…Beautiful Magnolia, don’t remember the second one and Beautiful. I picked up Beautiful and sniffed the bottle it smelled very (extremely) floral. I than sprayed it on a cotton swab because no paper tester was around…….WHOA!, this reminded me of a jazz club with older woman wearing a heavy floral perfume mixed with cigarette smoke….YUP you read that right cig smoke! I called over my daughter and I gave her the scenario and she agreed. Wow this is very floral and heavy floral at that….almost screechy but it is beautiful but not sure if this everyone! It comes off a bit older 90’s scent.

I had this when it first came out in 85 the year I moved to LA, it brings that those memories but not quite the same scent. This seems like it isn’t that soft floral as it used to be but a sharp floral of today! I’m sure it’s been reformulated a ton!
Longevity is 10/10 almost 15/10 sillage 10/10 and finally my rating overall 6/10 if you don’t get a headache!

wonderful gorgeous amazing stunning showstopping perfect in every aspect. did not expect a simple orange blossom fragrance to be this good. it lasts for days on clothes and it lasts on your skin for a full day as well. but its never cloying, its never too much. its perfect. the scent appears randomly throughout the day without making you feel like youre being choked. even though its 'just' an orange blossom, it excels at what it does greatly. its not bland or boring.

the site says the citrus is the biggest accord but its really not. it starts off citrusy and bitter, but it luckily lasts for like 3 minutes. then it becomes floral, creamy, slightly green, powdery (signature diptyque powdery like fleur de peau, tam dao and orpheon), soapy and clean. The patchouli in this isnt present whatsoever which im glad about. i dont have a single bad thing to say about this fragrance. nothing is missing and everything works together to create the most realistic orange blossom experience.

it smells like passing by an orange tree in bloom, right after walking past a bunch of jasmine. sniffing the flowers directly creates a way different experience, which eau des sens doesnt capture. it fully captures the air around the plants instead of the flowers themselves. and no it doesnt have too much jasmine, if any. it just reminds me of a jasmine filled area. i dont know how to explain it, but since its not noted i assume its just a bit of indoles from the orange flowers they used. It has creaminess too which is very surprising and somehow not common for orange blossom fragrances.

Even though i like a few other perfumes more for their fragrance and concept, i cant deny how perfect this is. its a 10/10 and i will be buying it once it runs out. amazing longevity (longer than all of my edps) and high quality inoffensive scent. you dont have to be the biggest fan of orange blossom to appreciate this, this is something that can be liked by everyone

Pretty much what is says on the bottle. Creamy, dark coffee, with a halo of ambery floral musk floating around it. The ambery floral musk bits are much more pronounced in the dry down. Easy to wear and smells great even as the dark coffee notes mellow out. A lot of the coffee fragrances I've tried in the past tend to trend on the saccharine side, d'Annam's Vietnamese Coffee is not - it's a very balanced cuppa, gourmand but not too sweet. This is going on my wish list!

Loubirouge is a very simple fragrance, the notes listed are exactly what you get, and I say that in the most positive way imaginable. I get cardamom, dry iris and a slightly powdery vanilla. I know a lot of people have described this as a sexy fragrance, but I disagree. This is not sexy at all to me, it’s comforting. It's something I wear at home, for me, and only for me. It's so calming and cozy. There's nothing warm in this fragrance, it's actually quite dry and almost "cold" but I still find it so comforting. It's elegant, a little powdery (but not makeupy) and minimalistic. Longevity is decent, about 6 hours. Moderate projection. I have a 4 ml sample that I use very sparingly since I don't want to run out of it. Loubirouge is not available in my country (none of the Louboutin fragrances are), and no online store will ship it here. I don't know why. I really wish I could buy a full bottle. Please, Christian Louboutin, make this available for purchase in Sweden! 9/10.

I am not impressed with this release.. In my opinion this is a marketing trick to sell their most known fragrance!

I had a 2017 version of the original and for the most part I don’t find any differences. They watered down the original and release the old formulation as the intense. I don’t like it when brands do these tricks to create hype.

Overall, if you have the original or even better an old formulation of the original you don’t have to “upgrade” to this. If are thinking about buying a Cedrat Boise and you can find the intense in good price take the intense.

I love this scent, it's a very nice lavander and vanilla heavy profile, very aromatic with some spices coming from the cinnamon and cardamon, I don't get much incense though, I own body kuoros and bought this hoping it'd resemble it, however most of the similarities lie in the opening only, once it dries down it does it's own thing, definitely an amazing scent though, think of a younger brother to body kuoros which is denser and heavier where this one is fresher

Spicy musk, like rolling around on a bear skin situated near a roaring fireplace. I can't believe the notes don't have any animalistic or musk listed. Montale Intense Pepper is a sneaky one. On my first couple of testing i didn't actually pick up on the pepper, only the lemon. That was weird but i didn't give it much thought since Mancera/Montale are notorious for sometimes naming fragrances that have not much to do with the actual scent. I know its a controversial and debated subject but personally i am a firm believer in the fact that fragrances develop into their final "form" once oxygen gets in the bottle after being sprayed for the first few times. Maybe it happens with official samples too, otherwise i can't explain it.

Today i put a small spray on my hand from the sample for another go at it and holy crap, they weren't kidding with the pepper here being intense!. In the opening it was like cracking a bunch of pepper seeds right under your nose, it surprised me out of nowhere. Once the peppery burst starts to die down, what emerges is a realistic sweet lemon hard candy scent, not the sour ones. In the far drydown, as the scent starts to fade you are left with a scent that somewhat reminds me of fragrances like Dior Homme 2020 / Sport 2021 or even Montale Red Vetiver / Terre D'Hermes. Maybe they use similar ingredients for the lemon accord as Dior and also use Iso E Super for the Hermes smell

This is not a cold weather scent, despite the heavier notes mentioned in the drydown. This isn't oudy, or ambery, no middle eastern vibes here to be found. Its a refreshing perfume but it doesn't have that "fragrancy" smell so i understand some people will make the comparition with lemon scented cleaning products. To me both the peppery and the lemony stages seem realistic. You have to really like those two notes to enjoy this one.

I've seen this scent be hated on so much online, whether it be on tiktok, forums, reddit, or here. I for one, never understood the hate.

The day I first smelled it, I knew what it could deliver. I am yet to meet a woman that does not love when I wear this. I have some of the traditionnal "compliment getters" in my collection and let me tell you that nothing comes close to the amount of compliments this gets.

It is both intoxicatingly warm and refreshing. The citrus in the openning is delicate, the lavender becomes more and more prominent as the scent dries down. Guys, let me let you in on something, MOST women absolutely LOVE lavender. Pair that with the fresh woodsy scent of the vetiver in the base, you'll get tired of telling women the name that you'll just say "the little grey robot".

Interesting. Unfortunately my bottle is very weak. I get a lovely horsey smell which I adore, mixed with aromatic herbal soap.
I wish I had way more horse in it, and less soap. And it should be much stronger. I get the feeling I can't get to know it properly since it's so weak. Like when I bought the new Mitsouko EDT which lasted half an hour with twenty sprays.
I blind bought this and thought I would regret only getting one bottle for the good price, but now I don't regret it that much, it's barely there on my arm. I guess once it used to be much stronger.

Smells pretty similar to Flowerbomb but it’s not identical. It’s that warm floral but this is more woody & powdery with a bright citrus opening. I get a lot of that amber & cedarwood. Mainly floral to my nose, with just a hint of cream, pepper adds some heat. Freshly sprayed it's cloying, but gets softer and prettier with time. Rose and patchouli. I get one or the other at different times, but that's it, more or less. This has become a classic combination already, but I am a Lalique fan and I like how an idea like this is executed with a certain modesty instead of the in-your-face grandeur you might expect. Believe the hype, it’s as good as everybody says it is. Smells absolutely divine!
It’s the perfect combination of sweet, gourmand notes but in the right amount so that creates something amazingly delicious but not cloying or sugary sweet.

Caramel, coumarin, honey, vanilla and musk. The blend smells so delicious and mouthwatering, like Italian biscotti or some expensive vanilla cake.

CHEAP SPICY-GREEN SOAP POWDER

Openings very sharp, green, soapy, and mildly powdery (from the spice, & woody notes), then as it dries the sharp green spiciness tones down and it get more fresh/soapy/clean/airy/musky w/ slight spiciness & powderiness; there's something very pungent/animalistic underneath (possibly the musk or patchouli or vetiver note); has a cleaner product synthetic ting, smells like green irish spring deodorant.

Smells nothing like Nautica Voyage or Azzaro Chrome, though it has that popular early 2000s bright-airy clean-powderiness like Chrome but Chrome is much smoother and aquatic-floral-clean while Eau de Grey Flannel spicy-green-clean. Eau de Grey Flannel is obnoxiously masculine, i would not like to spell this on a female, it doesn't even smell good on men & even overpriced (imo).

Suited for Spring & Fall, too weak for Winter & too harsh for summer.

Oriana is a beautiful, fruity fragrance. It's fitting for rather spring seasoned, sunny days. I really didn't find it too sweet, like many said, even though there is a prominent hint of the marshmallow and whipped cream notes, besides the fruitiness. It smells like happiness, picknicking with friends while wearing a sundress, ...

The only, but very important negative aspect, what keeps me from buying more than the discovery set version is that I can only smell it on my skin for maybe an hour. Even if I apply more sprays then I would on any other perfume - I simply still don't smell it at all.

This is a modern take on a creamy lavender freshie. A creamy sweet lavender is the star of the show with some clean mint and a very slight green tinge in the dry down. It’s not soapy. For me it’s a like, don’t get me wrong, it’s an extremely well blended fragrance and does that fresh spring lavender thing very well, but that’s just not my thing. Buy this if you want a super fresh lavender fragrance that doesn’t smell like an 80’s-90’s fougere. As far as longevity, I can clearly smell the scent on my hand 18 hrs after spraying. It’s not a projection beast, very soft in fact, but you will smell it on your skin and clothes for days. It’s also a very safe fragrance as nobody is going to be offended by a sweet lavender and mint combination. An ideal spring fragrance.

This was my scent back in highschool from when it came out in 2004. I used to wear it ALL the time. I lost track of it after high school and then in the past couple of years a woman came into my work and I was convinced she was wearing Curious(i didn't have a chance to ask her), and I remembered that I used to really love it. So i bought myself a small bottle and have been using it occasionally since.

On initial spray it's very harsh and alcholic but right away it mellows out into a cool aquatic white floral scent. On the dry down it gets more creamy and almost lactonic to my nose. You can really smell the tuberose which can smell old fashioned but here I find it charming and it really works. It's a very unique fragrance. I find that it lasts more than a day on clothes and about half a day on my skin. Sillage is decent as well.

I agree with other reviewers saying that it has a "cold" scent to it. I wear it feel like an elegant ice queen. It's hard to describe but it's there.

I think that this fragrance works for all seasons and both day and night.

Overall I really enjoy this fragrance and will continue to wear it off and on.

soft, fluffy and feminine, not too complicated, very wearable, not too sweet to me, but definitely feminine. Just one of those scents that makes you feel beautiful and womanly.

Unisex fragrances usually don’t strike too close to ‘a good fit’ for me. Usually they sit in a category of ‘Good but would I actually wear this?’

Most of the time it’s no, there’s a list of fragrances that I rate highly but just don’t couldn’t wear. The list of unisex fragrances that I would wear is short. This is not due to any prejudice against unisex fragrances moreover I have found them to veer towards sweet. I am inclined to think that this is intentional by the brand/perfumer

What Andy Tauer has created here is exactly the kind of fragrance that is truly ‘unisex’. It satisfies that particular narrow criteria that I have placed upon these type of fragrances. There’s no lean towards masculine or feminine but it remains squarely in the centre.

The issue though is that though this has so many notes that I like and would ordinarily go for, it’s not a fragrance I would see myself buying a full bottle of; I don’t understand the negative reactions to this though. As a scent it’s not that bad I actually like it,

First thing-I am big JPG fan and wanted to smell it before buy. Went to boots today and OMG! Love. It's a love! Tuberose but not bubblegumy (thanks god!) but little bit sharp and green (that's what I like!). Also fig but not green. Fig is sweet and ready to eat, almost syrupy. Then sandalwood, creammy, little sweet and milky (nothing sour like pickles). I also detect coconut...sweet, dry and rich. Dry down is so cosy, like a hug. Bottle looks soooo much better in real life that on the pic. I also wanted to try men's version but it was not in stock

Black tea, vanilla, tonka, musk and ylang.
The sibling to Musk Khabib, not as musky though and with some sort of camphorous facet.
An airy bergamot grows the longer it sits.
The creaminess is highly similar though.
Pleasant! Khabib is my preferred choice though

Question.
I found Profumo to have a kind of ‘wet dog’ vibe going on at a certain point that I could not get past. I sold it in the end.
I then had the first release of the Parfum, and the ‘soggy doggy’ was gone, although sadly it took the performance and incense with it!.
So my question is, if the 2024 (supposedly tweaked) version of Parfum is now almost 100% like Profumo, will the ‘wet dog’ vibe also be back?

It's exactly as the bottle suggests: a happy, classy but still girly fragrance, sparkling as champagne rosee. My favorite from the scents I've tried from this house because it's so easy to wear.

Acqua_Gio

Acqua_Gio

I bought this online at a re-seller for a great price [new, unopened].

It was definitely a risk, since the notes looked eerily similar to Elie Saab, which I sadly had to declutter, because the jasmine note in Elie Saab went too far into the "grape soda" territory on my skin.

But somehow this one, with the main notes of honey /orange blossom / almond are JUST enough outside of the "jasmine-grape soda" chemistry (for my personal skin) that it seems to be working. I've only been wearing it for about 15 minutes as I write this review, so we'll see.

This is clearly a beautifully-constructed quality fragrance, and I'm glad I discovered the brand, and especially this particular fragrance.

Probably not a safe blind buy. If you can sample it beforehand, I'd recommend it.

I was expecting a citrus-vanilla gourmand and I was so disappointed. It's citrus, orange blossom, rum and... COCONUT. Instead of vanilla I get coconut (which I hate). I get absolutely zero vanilla from Devotion. Moments like this make me question my nose because it's not the first time a lot of people are screaming "vanilla!!" when it's such an obvious coconut note to me. "Creamy" isn't always vanilla, it can be a lot of other things. Honestly, Devotion reminds me of sunscreen, same synthetic coconut smell. It's not gourmand in the slightest. Also not a fan of the citrus in the opening, it's a harsh cleaning product citrus on my skin. Overall, the vibe is syntethic, and I don't understand how anyone can find this scent edible. I would never eat something that smelled as artificial as this. It's also very, very strong, almost to the point that it's headache inducing. It's extremely sweet too, like La Vie Est Belle level sticky sweetness. They don't smell the same at all, but they have the same kind of syrupy sweetness. If you want a smooth and round citrus/caramel/vanilla gourmand, go for Lira by Xerjoff. It's way better. 3/10.

I was looking forward trying this out, after reading reviews. Also, in accordance with notes, this is along the lines of my liking.
It starts as classy rose, somehwat candied, rhubarb and litchi possibly. Litchi goes well with a rose as a combo notes.
Intro for me is an expensive rose.
Soon enough it turns quite spicy, incense and cedar. Reminds me of Flowerbomb perfume, like a very similar version of it. This one is for a classy dance night out and Flowerbomb for a nightclub, to somewhat differentiate.
There's nothing pastel rosey pink about this perfume.
This is darker spicier rose.
Good projection and lasts 6 or more hours.

Nostalgia in a bottle.

Kenzo Homme, the re-issue of the classic fragrance, immediately transports me back to the 1990s – a nostalgic journey for those who, like myself, experienced the original. It's a scent that invokes a strong sense of déjà vu, capturing the essence of its predecessor while introducing subtle yet noticeable differences.

Upon first encounter with the re-issued Kenzo Homme, I was pleasantly reminded of the original fragrance I cherished back in the day. There's a familiarity in its composition that echoes the past, yet it's not entirely the same. The current iteration seems to diverge slightly from the original's signature freshness and lightness. This newer version feels a bit softer, which could be a nod to modern fragrance trends or simply a reinterpretation of the classic scent.

Comparing scents separated by a span of 30 years is challenging, as memories of aromas tend to evolve over time. However, the re-issued Kenzo Homme still manages to evoke good feelings and memories. Stripping away the layers of nostalgia, the fragrance stands on its own merits. It skillfully blends marine notes with woody undertones, adding a hint of freshness that makes it particularly well-suited for warmer weather.

The scent is delicate and subtle, but has a noticeable presence, making it a fitting choice for someone who appreciates a balance between subtlety and character. It's especially appealing to those who enjoy a hint of retro vibes in their fragrance, as it skillfully bridges the past and present.

In summary, the re-issued Kenzo Homme is more than a mere replica of the original; it's a thoughtful reinterpretation that pays homage to its roots while adapting to contemporary sensibilities. It offers a delightful olfactory experience that appeals to both longtime fans of the original and newcomers seeking a scent with a blend of marine freshness, woody depth, and a touch of nostalgia. Furthermore, as Kenzo Homme won't be my daily go-to fragrance, it holds a special place in my collection. Its nostalgic charm and unique blend of scents make it a delightful addition for occasional wear. Therefore availability of a smaller 40 ml bottle is a thoughtful touch and just right for me.

Fragrances often go through what I like to call the infatuation phase. In this phase, you instantly fall in love with the scent but haven't yet gotten to know its quirks or fully understand how the fragrance develops. I am happy to report that after a year of owning Terre D' Hermes Eau Givree, I still love this fragrance. The opening of the scent is mesmerizing as it opens with a photorealistic interpretation of pink grapefruit; it smells like freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. As the fragrance settles, you get some similarities to the Terre D' Hermes Eau Fraiche but with a stronger, more pronounced citrus/citron. The full dry-down is slightly woodsier but unmistakably Hermes. It is a bright, uplifting, and refreshing scent that I love.

I so agree with the reviewer who describes Eau des Sens as resembling an expensive Italian soap scent: very unisex, refined, naturalistic, bright and elegant. My system wants to recalibrate to clean and fresh as often as possible and finds most fragrances (even the sensual beautiful creamy soft gourmand ones which initially attract me) cloying after a few hours. Eau des Sens is surprisingly tenacious yet never obtrusive; it does not dissolve into a vague reminder of something perfumey--even the next morning--it just continues to smell wonderful. I love it, including the initial bitter note, which goes against my usual taste for smooth and unchallenging fragrances. I don't even like orange blossom, yet this fragrance has become a true favorite. I recently came across a video where a French author had challenged herself to find the perfect "one and only" signature to wear for the rest of her life (for her young children to know her by). I understand that orange blossom holds a special place in the hearts of many French people. It also makes sense that this fragrance, in particular, might emerge as "the one" to go the journey of life with. I'd love it on a man and my husband loves it on me. It has integrity and feels made to persist long after fragrances of the moment fade into obscurity. Gorgeous scent.

Just by looking at the notes listed, Born in Roma Intense should be something I would love. I adore warm, enveloping, vanilla based, white floral. Simple, basic notes that create beautiful scents year round.

But there’s something in here that smells bad. It’s not present in the air but it’s present on skin.
I suspect that there is some hints of coconut in this, besides jasmine, benzoin, amber and vanilla. It smells like a sweet, creamy coconut-vanilla scent.

The scent is linear, doesn’t change much. Lingers for about six, seven hours with minimal projection. Just another boring jasmine, vanilla scent with an unpleasant undertone. Massively overpriced!

It is so literally fascinating, how the same scent can be so different for each individual. For GON Lovely, I don't get an actual mint note, I get the same sort of cooling vibe/sensation that you get from something like Alien (OG), or Libre, or Armani Code, but I do not detect mint at all. The rosemary is also very light-I've heard a review that it makes the scent savory but that is definitely not the case to me, it's still 100% sweet. It is very similar to the original GON, but I think it's actually closer to Shine. One thing that makes it different from both is that it is not as heavy and syrupy. I do occasionally, actually most often, love a sweet, decadent fragrance. The other flankers can be a bit much, especially in warmer temps. I feel like Lovely is a more crowd-friendly version. She is lighter, but make no mistake, she isn't *light*. I personally do not have to respray, unless I really want to get those opening notes really bright again, at all. I love this even more than the original. It actually is probably one of my top three scents. It's almost a caramel scent to me-I'd daresay some was hiding in there if I didn't see the actual notes. I get no anise. That's actually a bit of a disappointment, I like that note quite a bit. It's a decadent, (but not cloying), yummy, feminine fragrance with great lasting power and silage. Highly recommend.

I usually quite like the orto Parisi fragrances but this one certainly was not for me. Like most fragrances from this house it’s incredibly strong and very unique. I was not a fan however it’s really hard to describe what it smells like. The leather is definitely there and it is very dark and strong. I am a fan of unique fragrances but I don’t think I could ever see myself wearing this.

As an older guy, I actually prefer the original EDT to this one. I love this, but owning the EDT and Coral fantasy I feel as though I wouldn't wear this as much. It is a great performer, but it is a touch too sweet to make it as versatile. I wish this one held on to more of the minerality of the OG, as I think that is what I like about that one. This is good for colder weather and 'clubbing', I guess, although I haven't gone clubbing in almost 30 years...

Warm apricot (yes, apricot, not peach), smooth coffee and whipped vanilla. Despite the name it's not really that rich or dark, it's quite wearable. It's a fall and winter scent for sure, but it's not too heavy to wear in the summer nights if one would want to. Stays pretty linear, but not everything has to be super complex and niche to smell good. I wear this for cozy movie nights at home with my husband. I might wear it for a date night someday, but I have other fragrances I prefer for those occasions. I'm so glad that it doesn't have patchouli! Longevity is unfortunately abysmal, it's completely gone within 2 hours and it doesn't project very well. 8/10.

Tested it today at Sephora, reminds me a lot of L'Interdit Rouge / Intense by Givenchy! To me, this is very similar in the opening. When it dries down, it becomes woodier and more masculine.
A female friend asked me if I was wearing L'Interdit when she smelled me (about 1 hour after applying it).

The orange blossom and the amberwood are very present in my opinion. I can also smell vanilla. It tends toward the masculine side but a girl could wear it.

Performance is moderate on me, strong the first hour then close to the skin. Try it if you can.

This wasn’t on my radar at all, but the person working at Dillard’s recommended it to me. I instantly loved the scent profile and decided to buy it. I have really been enjoying it and have already gotten compliments. It’s an extremely versatile scent too, which I like. The only downside is it doesn’t seem to last very long, at least on my skin.
